History
Gratien Proulx Building Materials Ltd was founded in Ottawa in 1976. Its mission: to supply a highly specialized service to the drywall contractor industry. Throughout the years, it has developed to include steel stud manufacturing, diversity in product lines and a second to none fleet of trucks for local and out of town deliveries. These services now employ over 135 dedicated employees.
Gratien Proulx Building Materials Ltd sells all types of drywalls, vinyl boards, full line of drywall finishing products, demountable aluminum frames, acoustical ceiling systems, metal studs, tracks and trims, fasteners, tools and equipment, insulation (thermal, acoustical, rigid, and semi-rigid), vapor and air barriers, adhesives and caulking, press steel frames, wood and metal doors, hardware, field applied vinyls, exterior finish systems, lead for sound and radiation, sound panels and tectum.
